How many kinds of whiskey are there? Hundreds, including Bourbon, rye, Irish and of course, Scotch. All are distillations and their flavors calculate on what is used to make them. And there are hundreds of different drinks with whisky to be concocted, explored, tasted and enjoyed.
One famed one is Sazerac. Antoine Peychaud, proprietor of an chemist in New Orleans used to regale his friends to a pleasing hot toddy made with brandy and his own formula for bitters. He used a -ended egg cup, known as a”coquetier” as a quantify from which term, the word”cocktail” was born. A Sazerac is now the official tope with whisky of the City of New Orleans and here’s how you make one,
– a cube of sugar
